What can I say? I guess I am just a sucker for a strong woman story and this is just such a story. In A Year by the Sea  Joan Anderson tells the story of her life and the year she spent alone in a cottage by the sea. With her marriage seemingly failing she  makes the decision to move to a seaside cottage. She even takes a job at a nearby fish market. She finds that it is in her solitude that she finds herself. Sometimes it takes more strength to just be yourself then to be what other people think you should be.
