GPBookBlog: The Ortho Home Gardener’s Problem Slover edited by Cheryl Smith

Published by gaylejp under Uncategorized Edit This

Okay, all you gardeners out there, Christmas is over and January looms ahead. It is time to start thinking about flowers and vegetables. The Ortho Home Gardeners Problem Solver edited by Cheryl Smith is just the book you will need to help you identify problems and find solutions. Problems? You ask. Yes, problems like bacterial stem rot and verticillium wilt. This book provides you with color pictures that show the “problem” then gives you the analysis which identifies the problem and then gives you the solution to the problem. It covers everything from house plants to trees with every kind of garden plant you can think of in-between. Things like shrubs and vines, fruits and nuts, vegetables and berries and even lawns. This book features a great glossary of horticultural terms and an extremely detailed and easy to use index. It also features zone charts and a section on common household pests.

Look for this book in all the old familiar places like your local library, the bookstore at the mall or online at Albris, Barnes and Noble or Amazon.
