GPBookBlog: Another Book From My Book Shelf

Published by gaylejp at 2:34 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Digging further through my bookcase today I found Sue Hubbells’ Shrinking the Cat: Genetic Engineering before We Knew about Genes. Silk worms, house cats, corn, honey bees, lions, rats, apples and cows. What do all of these beings have in common? We humans have messed around with their genes that’s what. Very interesting book about what and how we humans have changed our world and the results thereof. Not exactly light reading but Sue Hubbell has such a golden touch with the written word this book reads more like a good story then something more scientific. If you have even the slightest curiosity about genetics you will enjoy this book. Shrinking the Cat by Sue Hubbell.
