I have always been a reader. Even before I learned to read for myself I was a reader at heart. I loved it when my mother or grandmother read to me. My grandmother began taking me to the public library when I was 5 years old. Now, over 40 years later, I still love libraries and I still love to read. I also, however, love to write so writing about reading is pretty close to paradise for me.

In this blog I will be writing about books I have read; ones I loved, ones I did not love , and the ones that fell somewhere  inbetween. I will also be talking about books that have been made into movies. The books I will be writing and talking about here will run the range from cookbooks to gardening books, biographies to crafts, novels to mysteries. So, welcome to the GPBookBlog.
